Smith College Botanic Garden Assistant
Worked in the Smith College Botanic Garden, assisting with greenhouse chores, education, plant propagation and repotting, and helped prepare the fall chrysanthemum show and the spring bulb show. Media Consultant Worked at Smith College’s Center for Media Production, assisting in equipment circulation and software education. Google Engineering Practicum Internship Implemented UI in Google Contacts to display inferred contact data from a user's emails. Coordinated with many front- and back-end teams at Google to successfully finish the project. The project was part of a demo presented to the CEO of Google. Young Hacks Academy Worked as a junior instructor at YHA Montpelier summer camp, teaching 9-14 year olds how to program in Scratch and Python. People of the Beans Café Co-manager of People of the Beans Café, a student-run enterprise registered with DECA. Provided coffee and baked goods to students, teachers and the larger Cabot community. |

Hand-set foundry type for broadsides and small publications at Smith College's printing press. Conversations From the Open Road Spent a week in Detroit conducting interviews with locals. Created a radio documentary based on the experiences and stories of Detroiters. The Limes Spent an academic year managing and playing in a 20-piece band. Managed finances, booked shows, purchased/tracked merchandise and recorded a CD. |
